We work with 5-6L in a double classroom. Our classroom it set up with 21st Century furniture that inspires us to work collaboratively as well as independently.
We enjoy the opportunity to use BYOD in our classroom, linking our learning to the outside world and expanding our sources of information.
In English, we dive into stories and explore for the hidden messages within text and pictures. In Maths, we investigate numbers, patterns and shapes and love finding new ways of using our skills to solve problems. In Science, we are looking at light and in Geography we are finding out about the diversity of cultures and traditions of the Asian region.
As the leaders of our school we love working with our younger peers in programs such as Buddies with the Kindergarten students and Peer Mentoring with the Stage 1 students.
