Well it is already halfway through Term 2 and 3/4R and 3/4B are powering ahead with their learning.
In Science we are looking at a unit called ‘Heating Up' and are having great fun investigating different heat sources and how heat moves from one object to another.
Of course, we are still busy learning many new concepts as well as revising what we have already learnt in Mathematics.
In English we are continuing to work hard with the six comprehension strategies to improve our understanding of texts studied. We are becoming great writers with the help of Accelerated Literacy. In preparation for our public speaking later this term, we are practising creating mind maps on different topics.
We had a great time on our excursion to Kamay Botany Bay National Park which reinforced what we had learnt in our History topic 'First Contacts'. An awesome day was had by all!
