Stories and highlights
There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.
A year at our school
Stage 3 had an unforgettable time at camp, beginning with their first stop at Scenic World. They rode the scenic railway, sky rail, and cable car, taking in amazing views of the valley and cliffs. Students also enjoyed a peaceful walk through the lush rainforest, surrounded by fresh air and towering trees.
Reconciliation Week was commemorated by the unveiling of our Indigenous Mural designed and painted by our First Nations students and local Indigenous artist Amy-Lea Hill. The mural called "Bilimas Journey' symbolises our school learner qualities as well as the learning journey that all students embark on at Alfords Point Public School.
Students had a great time keeping warm and comfy indoors as they watched a movie on the big screen. It was a wonderful way to relax and enjoy time together. A big thank you to our Semester 1 SRC for organising this fantastic event and creating such a fun experience for everyone.
A 'splash-tacular' time was had at the Colour Run with lots of colourful memories made! Everyone had a blast adding colour to everyone and everything! Our school community came together to paint the school with laughter and joy. Thank you to our P&C, staff, students and families who helped make this day so vibrant and memorable.
"We love our school for its supportive community and commitment to every student’s success. Our child feels safe and inspired every day.” — a parent of Alfords Point Public School
